CSG's Groundbreaking Enterprise Security Business Selects Leading
Academic and Industry Expert to Complement Accomplished Team of Advisors
ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
CSG
Invotas, the enterprise security business from CSG
International (NASDAQ: CSGS), today announced the addition of Paul
Dorey, Visiting Professor in the Department of Mathematics' Information
Security Group at Royal Holloway College, University of London, to its
advisory board.
CSG Invotas offers CIOs and CISOs a revolutionary approach to threat
mitigation and eradication. Instead of simply detecting and analyzing
intrusions, Invotas provides proven orchestration and automation
solutions to respond in real time to emerging and ongoing cyber attacks.
The company has enlisted recognized cybersecurity and risk management
leaders to serve in an advisory capacity on market directions, trends,
and technical aspects of Invotas solutions and operations. Dr. Dorey is
the newest member of that distinguished team.
Professor Dorey has more than 25 years of management experience in the
information security industry, including posts as the senior security
and risk executive at Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank, Barclays Bank, and
BP. His work has encompassed information security management,
operational risk management, business continuity planning, crisis
management, privacy, and the security of process control systems. He has
also consulted on critical national infrastructure protection to several
governments, served as founder of the Jericho Forum, worked as an
independent expert on the permanent stakeholders group of the European
Network Information Security Agency (ENISA), and served as founder and
chairman of the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP)
where he is currently Chairman Emeritus. Dr. Dorey was awarded Chief
Security Officer of the Year in 2006 and IT Security Executive of the
Year in 2008; in 2009, he was inducted into the IT Security Hall of Fame.
"We warmly welcome Paul Dorey to the CSG Invotas advisory board," said Mike
Henderson, president of CSG Invotas. "Paul's wide academic and
industry knowledge of risk frameworks and business strategy,
particularly his work integrating IT security with physical security and
other risk disciplines and his passion for knowledge sharing, make him a
valued member of our diverse and impressive team of security experts."
